Develop leaders

Executive and Leadership Coaching

We coach executives and managers one-on-one. The work covers how they lead, how they make decisions, and where their careers go next. For your organization, the aim is leaders who decide with clarity, lead with confidence, and are ready for larger roles.

What this covers

Executive coaching gives a leader dedicated time with an experienced coach to work on how they lead. The work stays close to the job. It starts from the decision in front of them, the conversation they have put off, or the team they need to bring along. Over time, the focus widens to the skills the next role will demand and where their career goes from here.

Skills are only part of it. Mindset matters as much. Habits that served a leader well in an earlier role can hold them back in a larger one. Coaching helps a leader see those habits, try a different approach at work, and review what happened at the next session.

When your organization sponsors the coaching, we agree at the start what stays between the leader and the coach. We also agree what is shared with you. That keeps you informed without breaking the leader’s confidence.

Angela Schloer, our CEO and Co-Founder, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She brings over 20 years of experience in multinational human resources (HR) and organizational development across Europe and the Philippines. Her coaching draws on that experience, so the focus stays on the person in the role and on the organization around them. Maria Liza Fresnido, our Co-Founder, brings over 40 years in HR and organizational development. Executive coaching is one of her specialties. We are based in Cebu City and work with leaders in Philippine and multinational organizations.

Where this helps

  1. A strong individual performer has been promoted and is still doing the work rather than guiding the team.

  2. A senior leader faces a high-stakes decision and has no one inside the organization to think it through with.

  3. An executive’s style worked at the last level but is now creating friction with peers or the team.

  4. A successor or high-potential manager has been named for a bigger role and needs support to get ready.

Who it is for

  • Executives and senior managers stepping into larger or more complex roles
  • Newly promoted managers moving from doing the work to managing others
  • HR directors and CHROs sponsoring coaching for successors and high-potential managers
  • Site heads in shared-services and multinational operations, and owners of Philippine enterprises

How an engagement typically runs

  1. 01

    Agree on the purpose

An engagement typically begins with a conversation with the leader. If a manager or HR lead is sponsoring the coaching, they take part too. Together we agree on the purpose, the format, and what is shared beyond the sessions.

  2. 02

    Understand the starting point

We get a full picture of how the leader works today. That can draw on their own account, their manager’s view, and, where it helps, feedback from colleagues. We set the coaching goals together from there.

  3. 03

    Meet one-on-one

The leader and coach meet one-on-one over an agreed period. Sessions start from live issues, such as a pending decision, a difficult conversation, or a team that is not yet working well.

  4. 04

    Review and plan ahead

Toward the end, we review progress against the goals set at the start. The sponsor joins this review if that was agreed at the outset. The leader leaves with a plan for what to keep working on.
